The aluminum fuel tank on our Peterbilt water truck came in with corrosion and years of thick highway grease buildup and was in desperate need of restoration. Tough aluminum doesn't rust, years of oxidation can cause aluminum wheels, tool boxes or fuel tanks to get heavily oxidized and discolored. Using muriatic acid on aluminum parts like these can help eat the corrosion right off. Wash the acid wash off the tank with a water hose to get this aluminum fuel tank looking brand new!
